Wilshire is looking for a Workplace Experience Assistant/Receptionist to support daily operations in our Santa Monica office.

  • Serve as the face of Wilshire; greet and welcome visitors and clients with a positive, helpful attitude
  • Ensure a pleasant and productive workplace environment, including overseeing cleanliness, safety and maintenance of the front desk, lobby, common spaces, and conference rooms
  • Act as a point of contact for employees, providing assistance and information on office services, amenities, and events
  • Serve as a culture carrier within the company; help plan and execute company events including luncheons, holiday parties, etc.
  • Act as liaison to the IT department for troubleshooting office AV equipment and ad hoc projects
  • Manage facilities needs such as conference room reservations, external visitors through the security portal, and catering as needed
  • Assist with mail, office supplies, and facilities maintenance, including issuing work orders for building and office vendors
  • Create Purchase Orders and provide other administrative support for colleagues such as scheduling and expense reports
  • Assist with or lead special projects as they may arise
  • Constantly look for opportunities to improve the workplace experience for yourself and your colleagues

Qualifications

  • 1+ year previous experience as a receptionist in a professional environment
  • Financial services industry experience a plus
  • Ability to be punctual and maintain a satisfactory attendance record
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills; detailoriented with the ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple incoming calls and guest checkins
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Comfortable interacting with highlevel business individuals
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft products, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

The pay range for this position is $26-$27.50/hour. However, base pay will be determined on an individual basis considering various factors, including location, qualifications, skills, and experience.

The total compensation package includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus and a full range of health and financial benefit offerings, which will be provided in conjunction with an offer of employment.
