Payroll Clerk

For our client, a dynamic company in Hamburg/Barmbek, we are currently seeking a Payroll Clerk (m/f/x) to join their team. Become a part of this great company. This position is a direct hire with our client. We will support you in the placement process and offer all of our services free of charge.

What to expect:

  • Independent and timely recording of monthly master and movement data for payroll processing
  • Management of time absences that affect monthly payroll
  • Compliance with current legal regulations in the areas of tax and social security
  • Consideration of contractual and extraordinary agreements
  • First point of contact for employees, pensioners, authorities, and health insurance companies regarding questions about payroll, income tax, and social security law
  • Issuance of certificates and correspondence with authorities and social security institutions
  • Review of outstanding claims and preparation for financial accounting

What you bring:

  • Completed commercial training with experience in payroll processing
  • Knowledge of social security, income tax, and labor law
  • Thorough knowledge of German accounting regulations and tax laws
  • Proficient in SAP and MS Office is a plus
