The city of Bottrop is looking to fill the following full-time position at the earliest possible date, until August 15, 2024:


Specialist for Pool Operations (m/f/d) at the Bottrop Sports and Pool Facility
(Pay scale group 7 or pay scale group 8 TVöD-V)

This is a temporary position to cover parental leave.

The Bottrop Sports and Pool Facility operates three indoor pools and one outdoor pool.

**The main tasks include: - Supervising pool operations and intervening in emergencies, as well as rescuing and providing first aid to injured persons

  • Monitoring, maintaining, and controlling technical equipment, including water treatment, in the pools
  • Cash transactions
  • Work for opening and closing the outdoor pool, as well as maintenance and cleaning tasks
  • Assisting and interacting with pool guests
  • Acting as deputy pool manager
