Overview:
This position assists in all aspects of the buying department.

Major Qualifications (include but are not limited to):

  • Allocate merchandise to stores
  • Daily Communication with warehouse regarding order maintenance; PO issues.
  • Write and follow up with purchase orders.
  • Place buys under direction of Merchandise Analyst and Buyer including written orders and follow up.
  • Test cases, factory directs, all coordination of paperwork and shipping.
  • Markdown maintenance under direction of Buyer.

Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 13 years' experience in retail or related field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
