    Description
    About the JobPosition available open to Mechanical Engineer with creative and analytical mind. Requires strong mechanical problem solving skills and an aptitude for developing quality engineering solutions.

    Candidates will be responsible for providing mechanical design analysis and prototype development in an atmosphere of rapid professional development and incredible learning.

    The position requires a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. This position is located in San Francisco.
    Requirements

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
    • 1-2 years of related work experience
    • Proficient in SolidWorksPreferred Qualifications
    • Precision engineering and manufacturing experience
    • Good analytical skills and knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) preferably with ANSYS software experience
    • Thermal analysis experience
    • Structural analysis experience
    • CFD analysis experience (Fluent preferred)
    • Solid understanding of vacuum components material properties and machine design
    • CNC and CAM experience
    • Skilled in documenting activities and maintaining records
    • Good understanding of standards and geometric tolerancing
    • Ability to manage time resources and vendors
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills including technical report writingPersonal Attributes
