The Employment Development Department (EDD), Document Management Division is searching for a motivated, skilled, and challenge-seeking individual who enjoys innovation, problem solving, and is interested in working with an exciting team of professionals in a fast-paced environment.


  • Under the general direction of the Office of Documents, Publications and Distribution's Digital Print and Reprographics Group Manager, the incumbent has the primary responsibility as second level supervisor over EDD's Imaging Services Group, a multishift digital printing facility responsible for printing outgoing mass mail documents for the Department.
  • The incumbent works through subordinate shift supervisors to ensure each shift is achieving priority and productivity goals, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high levels of quality control. The incumbent provides training and support to subordinate supervisors to improve supervisor performance and provides guidance and training on the most complex jobs. The incumbent maintains logs, monitors equipment maintenance, is responsible for the unit Safety Plan and ensures full compliance with OSHA requirements. The incumbent must ensure that all performance expectations are met and provides resources, training, and leadership to staff.
