Position Summary:
Responsible for the oversight of all clinical treatment programs of patients receiving treatment for psychiatric, and substance abuse issues in outpatient settings.
Position Responsibilities:
- Clinical / Technical Skills_ (40% of performance review)
- Responsible for overall clinical development of all outpatient clinical programs and staff
- Supervise, train and oversee staff development of all outpatient clinical staff (LCSWs, MSWs) and unlicensed employees while working in conjunction with the program management employees.
- Supervise the utilization review process and OP UR Coordinator
- Oversee and evaluate outpatient clinical case consultations being executed by clinical staff to ensure effective service delivery
- Assisting in interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning and scheduling/assigning on an ongoing workload assignments, adjusting programs and project priorities
- Responsible for positive employee relations approach including performance evaluations, rewarding and addressing performance, addressing complaints and resolving problems with staff.
- Utilize current data and thinking of clinical services to develop programs and clinical functions
- Maintain and foster effective relations with partners including a variety of stakeholders including physicians, vendors, community programs
- Program development and evaluation to ensure that programs are effective, efficient and consistent with the organizations mission, values and goals
- Perform other duties as assigned

Education
- Required: Masters degree from an accredited school of Social Work. Current license in social work in the state of employment, as required by state regulations. CPR and hospitalselected deescalation technique certification. A knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles.
- Preferred: Mental health professional license in the state of employment to conduct individual/group psychotherapy (e.g., LMSW, LPC, LMFT, LMCPH)
