    Position Description
  • The
    Department of World Languages and Literatures at Texas State University seeks to develop a pool of educators with expertise in Spanish for temporary/nontenured faculty positions at the rank of lecturer. The Department of World Languages and Literatures at Texas State offer majors and minors in Spanish, French and German, and a minor in Arabic, Chinese, Italian, and Japanese.

Required Qualifications

  • Specific educational requirements vary by position, but a minimum of a master's degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching field is generally required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.
D. in the specific area of instruction.

  • Previous teaching experience is preferred.
