Busy private practice specializing in General Gynecology, Urogynecology, and Medical Aesthetics has an immediate need for an experienced and excellent front-office receptionist / Schedular.
Qualifications:
- Excellent Phone Skills, appointments and scheduling
- Prior experience woking in a call centerlike setting able to handle a high volume of calls.
- Insurance verification and authorization
- Excellent customer service skills
- Full knowledge of Insurance (Medicare, PPO, HMO)
- Knowledge of all OB-Gyn terms, conditions and procedures
- EMR experience is a MUST (eClinicalworks is a plus)
- Appointments, Eligibility verification and Authorizations with Medicare, Medical, PPO and HMO/IPA
Responsibilities:
- Attend, triage and handle a high volume of incoming calls.
- Make appointments towards daily goals as per the scheduling templates.
- Adjust appointments as per condition, which doctor to see and which location.
- Minimize noshows and reschedules.
- Patient checkin/Out
- Collect, record and report copay, deductibles and other dues
- Eligibility verification, Benefits check, and authorization (HMO, PPO, Medicare)
- Manage all providers and resources scheduling across two locations
- Fill in for back office for MA duties
Pay:
$ $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
