Job Description

We are seeking a Plumber - Preferably a Master or Journeyman with a Virginia State Backflow Prevention Device Worker License (VA DPOR) to join our team The selected individual will test, certify and repair backflow prevention assemblies within the Northern VA, DC and MD area.

Responsibilities:

Test, certify, repair and install backflow prevention assemblies
Provide excellent customer service
Prepare required testing documentation and certification
Adhere to safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Current Virginia State Backflow Prevention Device Worker (VA DPOR) License or in the process of obtaining
Master or Journeyman Plumber License or in the process of obtaining
Previous experience in plumbing, maintenance, or other related field
Valid State Driver's License
Clean driving record
Satisfactory background check with drug screening with the ability to pass a security clearance
Ability to handle physical workload
Demonstrated ability to perform and work efficiently without supervision
Personable, self-motivated and customer service oriented
Ability to troubleshoot and repair backflow assemblies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management
Schedule flexibility is important
