Description
Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close, including analytical review of

financial results to ensure timely and accurate accounting records are maintained.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the daytoday accounting and financial operations, including general ledger
maintenance, payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable, and reconciliations

to ensure the proper and timely processing of billing and payments.

  • Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements, bank and general ledger
reconciliations.

  • Prepare monthly journal entries for payroll, accruals, prepaid expenses, and accounts
receivable.

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of industryspecific accounting standards and
their implications for the company's financial reporting.

  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and forecasts to provide accurate
and timely insights into the company's financial performance.

  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for business operations.
  • Processing, reconciliation, and oversight for our high volume of invoices. Including
primary internal and external contact to answer questions and explain any changes

related to invoices.

  • Develop and maintain budget and expense controls.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decisionmaking.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity
of financial data and the organization's continued growth.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • MBA or CPA a plus.
  • Two to five years professional experience.
  • San Diego resident (North County)
  • Healthy level of curiosity, excited about our industry, sense of humor, and enjoys
working with others.

  • Selfdirected professional with selfconfidence and desire to share your ideas and
knowledge.

  • Comfortable providing handson accounting and partnering with leadership on
high-level strategy, strategic planning, and growth plans.

  • Enthusiastic about collaborating with our clients and vendors to ensure exceptional
service.

  • QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, and Intermediate to Advanced Excel and
Access.

  • Highly organized, resultsoriented, with the ability to be flexible, and excited to be part of a
successfully growing company 80 year old company.


Pay:
$90, $95,000.00 per year
