Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team.

As an Accountant you will be helping with day-to-day tasks related directly to the accounting field, which means that precision is essential.

The individual should have knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures, familiarity with finance regulations the US GAAP, the US tax regulations, good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.

Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software QuickBooks, organization skills, and an ability to handle sensitive confidential information is required.

A background in internal audit and proficiency in financial analysis skills would be beneficial.


Duties:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Perform general ledger reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, laws, and regulations
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies
• Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
• Mentor junior staff members and provide guidance on accounting principles

Skills:

• Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in financial accounting software (e.g., Quicken) and MS Excel
• Knowledge of securities law and regulations is a plus
• Experience in public accounting is highly desirable
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Familiarity with accrual accounting methods
• Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately

$71, $76,557.00 per year
