    OVERVIEW:


    HART Technologies, Inc., an AS9100D certified design and build company, is looking for a Control Engineer to work as a member of a motivated development team performing design, build and integration of real-time tactical systems in Dahlgren, VA.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for various DoD projects, and machinery.
    You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and efficiency for our customer.
    Develop and design control systems based on project requirements and specifications.

    Assist in providing the programming and configuration of PLC's, DCS, HMI, and other control devices to ensure optimal system performance.

    Manage control system projects from conception to completion and within-budget execution.
    Collaborate with project teams to integrate control systems seamlessly within the overall project scope.
    Create detailed technical documentation, including schematics, diagrams, manuals, specifications and BOM's.
    Provide regular progress reports and updates on projects to management stakeholders.
    Attend weekly project meetings.
    Assist in the design and development of electrical and building control systems.
    Assist in preparing technical specifications, reports and documentation related to electrical and control systems.
    Participate in the design and implementation of electrical and control systems.
    Work with team members to ensure all control systems meet industry standards, safety regulations and compliance requirements.

    REQUIRED:
    BS degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering with embedded software focus.
    3-5 years of relevant experience.
    PLC experience.
    US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.

    DESIRED:
    Experienced in schematic creation.
    Five (5) years of professional experience, including specialized in DOD or related programs.
