Job summary
As a Pharmacy Clerk at AmeriPharma, you will be responsible for handling basic administrative duties within the IV department. Typically, communicate with patients, MD offices and Home Health nursing to collect information and exchange documents.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain complete patient records
  • Communicate with patients to obtain insurance information or equipment pick up
  • Review refills past due reports and notify a Pharmacist of any refill delays
  • Call MD office to request signed prescription orders, chart notes, refill request
  • Send patient documents to Home Health agencies
  • Call and obtain updated labs weekly for patients
  • Organize, file and scan documents
  • Add Lot numbers, expiration date and update quantities in inventory
  • Pack and seal compounded products for delivery
  • Other duties as assigned IV pharmacy supervisor

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED certificate

  • In-Person (Orange, Ca)
  • Monday-Friday 7:00 AM3:00 PM
