Position Objective
To provide overall operational support to the Foundations in the areas of finance and database.


Essential Job Duties:

Foundation Finances

  • Executes the Foundation's operating budget process
  • Tracks department expenses and reconciliations to keep the Foundation on budget
  • Working with Finance team, tracks GAU balances and documentation related to Foundation fund transfer
  • Acts as the liaison for clinical teams to facilitate accurate fund transfers and service line reporting
  • Runs a portion of financial reports for Monthend close, including reconciliation with Finance
  • Lead for all invoicing to Accounts Payable
Database

  • Extracts data from Salesforce and other Foundation systems in order to support Foundation initiatives.
  • Checks all gift processing/batch commitments prior to submission into the database
  • Executes weekly gift checks and gift adjustments as needed under the guidance of the Manager of Advancement Services.
  • Oversees all tax receipt issuance to donors and executes comprehensive End of Year receipt
  • Contributes to data hygiene in Salesforce through accurate data entry and routine data audits
  • Supports events at LHAAMCF & LHDCMCF through integrations between Salesforce and other event software
General Foundation Operations

  • Working with Manager of Advancement Services, works on special projects to improve operational efficiency within the Department of Philanthropy and Foundations
  • Keeps a global view of current processes and alerts Foundation leadership when programs evolve past established procedures

Educational/Experience Requirements:


  • Two years' work experience with advanced training in database and word processing skills.
  • BA/BS degree.

Physical Demands -

Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
