Seeking a Property Maintenance Technician

The maintenance tech will be responsible for maintaining multiple small apartment community in Grand Rapids.

This person will be responsible for prepping and turning units, maintaining the community grounds, completing work orders in a timely fashion with 100% attention to detail.

Must have great communication skills and taking pride in your work is a must. This position will start part time (12 hours per week) possibly leading to full-time.


Responsibilities:


  • Inspect buildings and complete necessary repairs.
  • Complete work orders and answer emergency calls in a timely manner.
  • Maintain grounds and equipment.
  • Make ready apartments
  • Oversite of inspections.
  • On call for emergencies.

Skills:


  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
  • Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
  • Manual dexterity and problemsolving skills
  • Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work oncall
  • Must have follow through and good communication
