Human Resources Business Partner
Location:
Westbrook, ME (100% On-Site)
Contract:
W2
Contract until EOY 2024, possible extension
Rate:
$22 - $26/hr
Responsibilities:
- Business Partnering:
- Collaborate closely with business leaders to implement businessspecific programs focusing on high performance, ethics, engagement, and overall organizational effectiveness.
- Coach senior leaders and their teams on talent assessment, engagement, development, and retention strategies.
- Support the deployment of performance management and rewards processes to drive employee accountability and retain top performers.
- Talent Management & Organizational Capability:
- Implement Abbott's talent strategy within the assigned business teams.
- Translate talent strategy into actionable plans with relevant metrics and milestones.
- Operationalize talent acquisition, talent development, and succession practices within the business teams.
- HR Service Delivery:
- Ensure business priorities are communicated effectively with Practice and Service Centers for resource planning and alignment.
- Collaborate with regional and global HR colleagues to execute business decisions and actions per agreed plans.
Basic Qualifications | Education:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- 5+ years' experience in clientfacing HRBP roles.
- Demonstrated experience in developing relationships and leading processes with remote business partners and HR colleagues.
- Strong business acumen and ability to influence senior business leaders.
- Experience in workforce/talent strategy development and implementation.
- Knowledge of HR functions including talent acquisition, total rewards, talent assessment, culture, employee engagement, and performance management.
- Experience with multilocation deployments and cultural diversity is highly desirable.
Additional Responsibilities for HR Generalist:
- Provide functional support and consulting on employee relations, leave management, performance management, and HR initiatives.
- Conduct exit interviews, support HRBPs in communication, maintain job descriptions, and identify training requirements.
- Assist in organizational design, change management initiatives, and HRrelated process improvements.
- Must be Authorized to Work in the US_
