- Provides support to the staff pharmacists and clinical specialists as needed to ensure the optimal patient care with the most up-to-date clinical protocols.
- Participates in the Pharmacy clinical support team and in various multidisciplinary patient care committees, coordinates drug use evaluations, and engages in other projects as needed to enhance clinical pharmacy services and promote optimal patient care.
- In conjunction with Pharmacy Leadership, develops, implements and monitors metrics to the value of pharmacy clinical services
- Coordinates ongoing clinical education for Pharmacy Staff and other care givers
- One (1) or more years' experience in a pharmacy leadership position or as a clinical pharmacist

The Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator assists Pharmacy leadership in the development, implementation and maintenance of clinical pharmacy services to provide optimal pharmaceutical care in an appropriate, efficacious, safe and cost-effective fashion.
Evaluates drug literature by analysis of experimental design and methodology, in order to compare and contrast therapeutic regimens and roles for new drugs, serves as authoritative information resource on drugs and their utilization to promote optimal drug therapy for patients that is appropriate, cost-effective and maximizes clinical outcomes.
