This role will be responsible for assisting the Manufacturing Program Manager in completing deliveries of the various products manufactured at ITI.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and organizing production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
- Coordinate with various departments, including program management, procurement, sustainment, and quality to ensure smooth manufacturing flow.
- Initiating production through issuance of production work orders and monitor production status.
- Monitor production processes and implement measures to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure adequate stock levels for uninterrupted production.
- Collaborate with the production manager to develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Assist in resolving productionrelated issues in a timely and effective manner. Examples include end of life updates, manufacturing instruction changes, and quality defects.
- Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports as needed.
- Report status and issues to management when appropriate.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with Aerospace AS9100 Standard as well as necessary manufacturing industry safety regulations.
- Proven experience in a production environment, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of production processes', including scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proactive approach to problemsolving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
