    RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE

    As a member of our Retail Sales Team, you'll be on the forefront of creating a memorable shopping experience for our customers. Ultimately, your primary role will be to promote our company's products and services through excellent customer service, while consistently meeting the store's sales goals. To be successful on our team, you'll need to be results-driven, stay up to date with product features, and maintain our store's visual appearance in high standards.

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Welcoming customers into the store and answering their questions
    • Staying knowledgeable about our range of products
    • Finding product solutions for customers that best fit their needs and discuss available options
    • Explaining the benefits and functions of products and show customers how to use them
    • Maintain the visual appearance of the store, departments, and displays
    • Actively seeking out and engaging with customers in store
    • Building productive trust relationships with customers
    • Promoting special sales, offers, and gift registry programs
    • Teaming up with co-workers to ensure a proper customer experience
    • Processing orders, operating the point of sale register, and handling returned merchandise
    • Complying with inventory management procedures
    • Contributing ideas to improve sales, products, merchandising, and operations
    • Following and achieving Suite Child's sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis

    DAILY ACTIVITIES

    Retail Sales Associates will assist customers throughout the buying process and across a range of product categories, including clothing and accessories, gear (car seats, strollers, etc.), nursery furniture and bedding, toys, and baby essentials. You'll answer customer questions about our products and recommend the right solutions. You should be able to promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum customer satisfaction. You'll work closely with the Store Manager and other members of the team to ensure that customers have a positive experience with Suite Child.

    ROLE REQUIREMENTS

    Candidates with work experience are ideal, but you can expect to receive extensive on-the-job training. Suite Child will provide an in-depth understanding of our products, services, company policies and operational procedures.

    PART-TIME SCHEDULE

    • Flexible 2–4 shifts per week hours per week)
    • We'll work to schedule your ideal 4-hour or longer shifts (i.e., 9am-2pm, 11am-3pm, 1pm-5:15pm)
    • Rotating weekends off; Closed Sundays
    • During peak sale periods and events, we may need you to work additional or longer shifts

    PART-TIME SALARY

    • Part-Time Retail Sales Associates will start at $13 - $15/hour ($10,140 - $23,400 a year)
