Description

The Archdiocese of Freiburg is looking for a CONTROLLER (m/f/d) for the Archdiocesan Ordinariate as soon as possible with a workload of 100% (39.5 hours per week) for the Department 8 - Finance.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing advice to departments and management committees on budget planning and management
Participating in budget discussions and committee meetings
Preparing and developing financial reports
Analyzing budget deviations, identifying causes and risks
Driving and advancing projects
Critically questioning processes and optimizing them

To be successful in this role, you should have:

A degree in economics, preferably with a focus on controlling, finance, accounting or a similar qualification
Good theoretical and practical knowledge of controlling instruments and reporting standards
Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel
A meticulous and goal-oriented working style with a strong service orientation
Strong numerical understanding combined with analytical skills
A belief in teamwork and cooperation
Identification with the goals and values of the Catholic Church
