Responsibilities:


This position is part of The Ringling's Visitor Services Team, serving as a lead worker in the Admissions and Box Office areas.


Admissions functions:

  • Assists with overseeing Admissions Associates, including but not limited to ensuring staff compliance with policies/procedures, processing returns, and morning/evening cash count
  • Operates ticketing system processing ticket sales, memberships, and etickets

Box Office functions:

  • Assists with ensuring staff compliance with policies/procedures, processing returns, and morning/evening cash count
  • Works directly with Box Office Manager and Front of House Manager to ensure a positive visitor experience including:
  • School groups (K-12)
  • Seating issues/ADA concerns
  • Customer service

As needed:

  • Implements Summer Circus Group Sales from inquiry through postvisit evaluation
  • Assists with training staff on job responsibilities, admissions processes, customer service skills, museum offerings, promotions, and memberships
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Skills relevant to this role include:

  • Advanced level customer service with a focus on serving diverse audiences
  • Excellent communication skills to include verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask and address guest issues in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to identify issues and take proactive measures

Education

Considerations:


Working Hours:
Tuesday - Saturday from 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM with a half-hour meal period.

This role may be required to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, special events, and holidays based on the needs of The Ringling.


  • This position is based in Sarasota, FL.
  • This is a USPS position.
  • This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check to include fingerprinting.
