Elementary Special Education Teaching Assistant

Location:
Great Hearts Anthem (3950 W Arroyo Norte Ave., Anthem, AZ 85087)
The
Special Education Instructional Assistant (Teaching Assistant) is a non-certified assistant to the Special Education Program at the academy


The assistant will:

  • Serve students in both general education and special education resource classrooms
  • Work to support students in all settings on campus
  • Work under the direction of and in collaboration with the certified Special Education teachers and General Education teachers

Qualifications:


  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • An interest in reading great books
  • Education/Certification:_
  • Associate degree (preferred)
    or two years/60 credit hours of higher education
    or a passing score on an appropriate ADE assessment.
