    Description
    *Job Summary:
    • Provide direct services to FLACRA's clients via individual, family and group counseling. Caseload may be primarily children ages 5-17 or adults depending on qualifications and program need. Must Have Qualifications: _Masters level education in Health/Human Services_
    * _*Licensed Professional in one of the following credentials: Creative Arts Therapist (CAT), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Mental Health Counselor (MHC), Licensed Psychoanalyst, Master's Level Psychologist (with the supervision of a psychologist), or Master of Social Work (MSW)*_
    * _*Training and expertise in provision of both adult and children mental health treatment*_
    * _*Valid NYS Drivers' License*__Nice to Have Qualifications :_
    * _Previous experience working in a Behavioral Health setting_

    * _Previous experience as a Licensed Professional_*Duties:
    • Responsible for, but not limited to, providing direct diagnostic evaluative services to clients referred to this Agency by many varied referral sources. To assess the client's primary and secondary diagnosis and, thus, need for further counseling.
    • Supply identified clients direct therapeutic services through individual, conjoint, family and/or group therapy.
    • With self-direction and competence, carry out the Agency's responsibilities to its clientele. Handle intake and service load with independent judgment using self-initiated consultation in technical problems of diagnostic evaluation in treatment techniques.
    • Maintain records in compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
    • Participate in community presentations and training programs as needed and directed
    • Participate in general, staff, in-service and supervisory meetings held by the Agency or counseling staff.
    • Provide training as needed to new staff and interns.
    • Ability to provide potential in-community services.
    • Perform other functions as directed. Other Skills/Knowledge and Experience:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with culturally diverse persons, staff and community service providers.
    • Knowledge of local behavioral health service system.
    • Expertise in children's mental health treatment
    • Comfort with tele-technologies
    • Ability to multi-task, have good problem solving & time management skills and the ability to remain calm in a crisis.

    Job Type:
    Full-time Pay: $ $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 37.
