An experienced Business Strategy Manager needed in Long Beach, CA for the growing US entity of an international company This Jobot Job is hosted by: Ray Madden
We have farming operations on 30,000 acres of prime farm land in the Western United States.

Research / Competitive Intelligence Identify and monitor key trends across our landscape and ecosystem
Collect, analyze, and interpret data to form externally informed, actionable insights and enterprise-wide outlooks that are then used to formulate corporate strategy
Build a robust competitive intelligence process to monitor activities of key industry players including competitors, suppliers, customers, and consumers
Strategic Planning
Drive the strategic planning process to define company strategy, establish strategic goals & identify strategic initiatives
Perform both internal and external strategic analyses to become better informed about current business conditions
Funnel insights (industry, business, competitive analysis) to facilitate strategic plan development
Establish and maintain a companywide calendar to facilitate the planning processes
Partner with teams across the organization to facilitate Deep-Dive analyses into selected businesses with varying objectives ranging from effecting a turnaround of a troubled business to accelerating the growth of a fledgling business
Performance Management and Executive Communication
Assist in executing the Strategic Plan by supporting transformation initiatives and by facilitating tracking and reporting of key performance metrics
Identify performance gaps and facilitate coordinated actions to address issues
Develop content that will be included in executive and board level presentations
Support with Improving the overall performance of the business units in scope
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or engineering preferred
5-10 years' total experience in consulting, business development, strategy, or strategic planning
Should be proficient in Excel financial modeling and in creating PowerPoint presentations
Market research and competitive analysis skills
Travel Requirements: 15-20% of the time
