Breckenridge Trucking
Inc. is currently seeking a full-time well-qualified Parts Coordinator to provide overall support to the Fleet Maintenance department of our Trucking Company.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist in ordering and maintaining parts inventories and shop supplies
- Create parts purchase orders
- Create and review work orders for accuracy, including parts used, work performed and diagnostics
- Facilitate and track service and parts warranty claims
- Process and submit invoices to billing daily
- Exhibit exceptional communication skills to work with technicians, management, and other staff members
- Maintains and manages filing system (physical and electronic) and storage of documentation
- Provide safety administrative support: assist in keeping DOT and OSHA related required documents up to date and filed; assist in preparing and organizing safety policies and programs within the company
- Maintains and update databases or spreadsheets
- Maintains knowledge of and adheres to company policies and procedures
- Researches, prioritizes, follows up and provides recommendations regarding issues, concerns and process improvements
- Positive attitude and honest work ethic
- Selfmotivated, efficient, and work independently
Experience and Skills:
- Trucking and logistics background
- Effective interpersonal skills both oral and written
- The utmost attention to detail and fully accountable for his or her actions
- Excellent multitasking, time management and organizational skills
- Selfstarter that requires little to no oversight
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associates Degree in relevant field preferred
- Three (3) plus years professional office experience performing administrative assistant, secretarial and receptionist duties
- Experience with office management practices and familiarity with common office equipment required
- Excellent communication skills
- Superior writing skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Must have valid driver's license and must have own transportation to and from work
