Qualifications

  • MUST be Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Valid Driver's License and access to a motor vehicle preferred

Responsibilities:


  • The Medicaid Entitlement Specialist is responsible for assisting clients in the Medicaid recertification process to reactivate their insurances so NYHC services can continue without disruption
  • Contact clients that have lost their Medicaid coverage to discuss possible resolutions and next steps
  • Communicate with appropriate Medicaid offices by telephone, in writing, or face to face
  • Follow up on additional information requested
  • Respond to denials including, but not limited to, appearing at fair hearings
  • Monitor eligibility reports for coverage issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Pay:
$55, $65,000.00 per year
