Job Summary:

We are seeking a Construction Estimator to join our team.

The Construction Estimator will be responsible for analyzing construction documents, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring projects are completed within budget constraints.

Duties:

• Utilize construction estimating software such as HeavyBid to prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates
• Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine accurate quantities of materials and labor required
• Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to negotiate pricing and contracts
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure cost control
• Prepare bid packages, proposals, and change orders
• Conduct site visits to gather information for estimating purposes
• Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs
• Utilize Bluebeam or similar software for plan review and takeoffs

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in construction estimating, including using HeavyBid or similar software
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
• Proficiency in project management techniques
• Ability to negotiate effectively with subcontractors and vendors
• Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar software for plan review and takeoffs
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay:
$65, $100,000.00 per year
