Purpose of Role

The IT Manager facilitates the integration of digital tools and best practices into instruction and administrative systems.

Both a big-picture thinker and a hands-on implementer, the IT Manager engages with administrators, educators, parents and students, and IT contractors to extend responsible and creative use of technology for MAB.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with International Schools Partnership (ISP, the parent company of MAB), and the school leadership team to develop and implement a strategic vision for using technology in both the academic and infrastructural areas.
  • Manage all administrative facets of technology programs and services within the school, encompassing infrastructure deployment and upkeep, as well as providing guidance and assistance to educators and staff in utilizing various technological tools.
  • Provide current, cuttingedge information to support decisionmaking on academic and administrative technology matters.
  • Conduct thorough troubleshooting and maintenance activities, discerning whether issues require external assistance or can be resolved internally.
  • Coordinate and integrate ISPwide policies and technical requirements, and ensure these policies are effectively applied by working with IT contractors and inhouse employees as needed.
  • Ensure that all educators and students have access to the appropriate technology tools to perform their tasks with the best possible efficiency and ease of access.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience and Requirements

  • B.S. or Equivalent Degree in the field of Computer/Technology.
  • 7+ years' experience in the field of technology, preferably 3 years of experience in a technology leadership position.
  • Experience managing Microsoft 365 platform, Azure AD environment, networking, scripting, and IP Phones.
  • Root cause analyses and technical troubleshooting.
  • Writing technical requirements.
  • Project management.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Customer focus, and collaborative leadership.
