Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Medical Assistant duties.

- Support medical and surgical procedures for patients of all age groups.

- Administer vaccines and ensure proper documentation and storage.

- Independently perform various clinical tasks like dressing changes and ear lavage.

- Conduct Point of Care testing following lab protocols and collect specimens accurately.

- Assist providers with patient care management and handling medication refills.

- Engage in professional development activities and committee involvement as needed.

  • Carry out patient intake processes.

- Greet and assist patients in line with service standards and ensure accurate patient data recording.

- Check vital signs, symptoms, and document relevant health information.

- Review and address preventive health needs and support patients with necessary screenings.

- Reconcile medication lists and comply with Meaningful Use standards.

  • Plan patient care effectively.
  • Prepare for patient visits and support providers during office procedures.

- Monitor schedules to optimize patient flow and minimize delays.

- Assist in office-based procedures and maintain supplies and equipment.

- Organize paperwork and ensure proper documentation for follow-up care.
