Description

Williams Electric, a division of R.W. Warner, Inc., is looking for an Electrical Estimator.

The Electrical Estimator will analyze blueprints to determine the electrical needs of various projects, provide solutions to increase profitability, and prepare project bids.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Collecting all pertinent documents including property plans, technical drawings, and project specifications.
Studying documentation, meeting with clients, and inspecting the construction site to fully understand what work is required.
Review building plans and their elements to make accurate price estimates.
Obtaining multiple quotes for each of these and then selecting the most suitable offers.
Negotiating with service providers to secure better prices.
Drafting proposals that detail envisaged materials, costs, and time frames.
Meeting with clients to discuss their thoughts and concerns about our offers.
Calculate the potential profitability of projects.
Evaluate the labor and materials costs of electrical projects.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Previous experience as an electrician or in the industry
Knowledge of relevant technical and nontechnical documents, ability to interpret blueprints.
Ability to provide highly accurate estimates for a wide variety of electrical projects
Exceptional quantitative and customer service skills.
Outstanding research and proposal writing skills.
Ability to negotiate with seasoned Sales personnel.
Dependable, conscientious, and wellspoken.
Proficiency in Microsoft platforms (Outlook, Word, Excel)
25 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator
