Girls Head Swim Coach (SY Stipend)

$4, $5,539.00 stipend


Time Commitment:


  • Six days a week.
  • Twenty to twentyfive hours a week.
  • Three meets a week.

SUMMARY:


The Watertown Public Schools seeks an outstanding Head swim coach to coach the girl's varsity swim team for the school year.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Planning all areas of their team.
  • The coach will lead and assist their coaching staff in coordinating efforts under one program goal and ensuring compliance with rules at all levels.
  • Analyze game strategy.
  • Implementation of skill development.
  • Coverage on bus trips.
  • Video analysis of meets.
  • Statistical analysis of meets.
  • Attend all league and local, district, and state meetings when necessary.
  • Reaching out to local Youth Groups to promote their respective sport in town.
  • Planning award ceremonies and individual award winners.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:


  • CPR Certified.
  • NFHS Concussion test completed.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:


  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Experience coaching swim
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
