Description

Responsibilities:

Provide instruction to students in the absence of the regular teacher
Follow lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Manage student behavior and enforce school policies
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needs
Collaborate with other staff members to support student success

Experience:

Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred
Knowledge of special education, childhood development, and literacy education is a plus
Familiarity with tutoring techniques and strategies is beneficial
Ability to work with students of various ages, including preschool through high school
Understanding of math concepts and ability to provide math instruction is desirable
Experience working with students on the autism spectrum is advantageous
