    My client is a leading supplier of interconnect products for military, aerospace, and industrial applications in the Salem, MA area. They design and manufacture a variety of high-quality products including connectors, relay sockets, terminal blocks, and cable assemblies. Their products are trusted by numerous OEMs worldwide, thanks to their technical excellence and cost-effective custom solutions. With manufacturing facilities across multiple regions, they offer a robust global network of distribution and support.

    Job Description

    The Senior Quality Engineer will:

  • Oversee the escape management process, identify root causes, and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.
  • Facilitate and coach cross-functional teams for problem resolution and address major organizational issues.
  • Maintain cooperative relationships with departments, customers, and suppliers to enhance problem-solving.
  • Coordinate, track, and manage RMA to completion.
  • Generate, maintain, and provide quality metrics to management; oversee quality improvement programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement using data and KPIs.
  • Provide technical support and maintain strong working relationships with the operations team.
  • Investigate hardware/assembly concerns affecting quality and delivery by reviewing procedures and standards.
  • Build cross-departmental relations for effective communication on part status.
  • Process MRB parts under review.

    The Successful Applicant

    Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Proficient in RCCA tools and systemic RCCA.
  • Able to interpret technical data and guide teams.
  • Experienced with Quality Management Systems and MRP/ERP/SAP in production and manufacturing.
  • Resilient in difficult situations, focused on results.
  • Effective in interfacing with all management levels, customers, and government agencies.
  • Knowledgeable in AS9100, AS9102, and ISO standards.
  • US citizenship required due to government contracts.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.

    Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering, Physical Sciences, Manufacturing, Quality).
  • 5+ years in Quality, Manufacturing, and/or Engineering, with at least 3 years in aerospace. What's on Offer
