    responsibilities:
    Prepare monthly reports comprising financial statements, cash flow projections, budget-to-actual financial analysis, and maintenance/projection of the annual budget.

    Compile all necessary information for annual Federal and State income tax returns, and liaise with external accountant for timely submission.

    Reconcile all financial accounts monthly for internal financial reporting purposes.
    Analyze income and expense accounts monthly and annually, and report significant changes in revenue or expenses to executives.
    Prepare all year-end schedules and coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
    Report, summarize, and process all vendor payments weekly, ensuring timely payment and resolution of billing discrepancies.
    Review all employee business and travel expenses to ensure compliance with guidelines.
    Provide guidance to operational personnel on financial controls and guidelines.
    Implement adequate controls and ensure approved substantiating documentation is available for all purchases, facilitating independent and governmental audits.
    Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and prepare annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP, federal, state, international, and other required supplementary schedules and information.
    Monitor banking activities of the organization.
    Supervise and develop the remote accounting team.
    Additionally, responsibilities related to restaurant transactions include:

    Recording daily restaurant transactions, including deposits, Fintech payments, and bank reconciliation.
    Entering weekly restaurant transactions, including payables, allocation of sales, paid outs, comps, and sales tax collected.
    Entering restaurant monthly transactions, including inventory adjustments and sales tax remittance.
    Recording payroll and benefit activity.
    Producing monthly financial statements.
    Communicating with restaurant management regarding expenses and deposit discrepancies.
