As a People Operations Generalist at Infarm in Woodburn, OR, you will be a vital member of our People Team, with a specific focus on payroll tasks.

This includes being the main point of contact for all stakeholders and employees, as well as handling administrative tasks such as creating contracts for new hires and updating existing employee information.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage our external payroll system and assist with monthly payroll preparation for multiple countries
  • Maintain and update employee data in our time recording system
  • Prepare data for German authorities and health insurance companies
  • Address and resolve payrollrelated inquiries from employees and managers
  • Generate reports for upper management and finance department
  • Administer all aspects of employee information using our HRIS tool, BambooHR
  • Provide expertise and guidance on labor laws to various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Create legal documents such as contracts and reference letters
  • Share best practices for developing and implementing personnel and companywide policies
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency within the People Team

Requirements:


  • Strong understanding of outsourced payroll processes
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
  • Familiarity with German labor laws and previous experience in this area; knowledge of other countries is a plus
  • Experience with outsourced payroll systems in Germany, Denmark, United Kingdom, or Netherlands is preferred
  • High school
