Server Job Description- Servers are the front line engagers of our guests, you will be responsible for hosting the experience.
- You will be expected to possess product knowledge of every ingredient on the Food menu.
- You will be expected to possess product knowledge and have an ability to explain to guests the differences and advantages to the craft beer selection, liquors, and wine.
- Approach all tables with enthusiasm and explain the concept of food and service at Evviva Cucina.
- You are expected to familiarize your guests with our concept and focus on our fresh ingredients, local sourcing, and scratch kitchen.
- Immediately offer to take beverage order and enter into hand held at the tableside.
- Ask if there are any questions on the menu or if the guests would like some time to go over it. If applicable put in orders immediately.
- Maintain constant eye contact and presence in your section and look for opportunities to help fellow team members.
- Run food and drinks, maintain and reset tables, restock side stations
- Present check following each order explaining that it is only there for their convenience and you are not rushing them.
- Servers are responsible for the accuracy of their cash handling and transactions. Servers are responsible for any discrepancies there may be.
- Our servers should embrace our culture of teamwork, respect, knowledge, and service. A big part of your job is to work with team members and communicate your needs to Bussers and Management
- Coming prepared to work is a must. Bringing pens and a bank will be necessary.
- Thank your guests for coming in to Evviva Cucina
- As a Server, you will be responsible to tip out the bussers and bartenders a percent of your sales this differs by location.
- You will be expected complete opening and closing duties and work together with your team mates to make sure all work is complete.
- You should also be willing to perform tasks delegated by managers as needed
- Each Team Member will demonstrate knowledge of the liquor laws and their responsibilities in the service of alcoholic beverages.
