    Description

    Summary:
    Client is seeking an Assistant Controller to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting by managing the monthend and yearend closing processes
    • Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
    • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
    • Provide guidance and support to accounting staff, including training and development opportunities
    • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and facilitate the annual external audit processQualifications:
    • Strong accounting background (coding, bank reqs, journal entries, etc.)
    • Heavy AP/AR experience
    • Must possess strong written and oral communication skills as candidate will be client facing
    • BS degree in Accounting or related field
    • CPA highly desirable. Candidate must be CPA eligible
    • Experience using Paylocity is a huge plus
    • Bill-Me/Ramp experience strongly desired#J
