Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth operation of tanks, cooling lines, mixing, cullet, and filtration systems, as well as related peripherals and equipment
  • Operate equipment with a focus on optimal energy and resource utilization and minimal environmental impact (emissions)
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and components within your responsibility
  • Identify and communicate maintenance needs for equipment or components
  • Support and participate in maintenance work
  • Coordinate raw material and cullet logistics
  • Actively participate in and contribute to continuous improvement processes; i.e. identify and communicate improvement suggestions within your responsibility

Qualifications:

  • Relevant work experience in a smelting plant, ideally with a completed training as a glassworks technician or industrial
