    About the Job:

    As a Design Engineer, you will play a key role in developing new products, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and customer needs from conception to validation. You will be the Engineering representative in the Material Review Board (MRB) and handle the creation of models, drawings, and technical documentation through Eaton's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) database.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the development of new products, ensuring compliance with standards and requirements.
    • Participate in the Material Review Board (MRB) as the Engineering representative.
    • Create and manage engineering data, reports, and program deliverables through the PLM database.
    • Provide engineering inputs for customer proposals, including bill of materials and labor estimates.
    • Conduct mechanical design and dimensional analyses, as well as validation tests.
    • Collaborate with internal resources analysis teams for design validation.
    • Author and review test plans, procedures, and reports for testing.
    • Perform failure analysis investigations for corrective actions.
    • Communicate effectively with technical and program leadership teams.
    • Support marketing and sales teams with technical assistance and customer visits.

    Requirements:

    • 5 years of product design experience in the Aerospace industry.
    • Solid proficiency in Solidworks (CAD).
