Summary Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as the Waterpark Revenue and Promotions Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue maximization and implementing promotional strategies to enhance the overall guest experience.

Reporting directly to the Waterpark Director, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial success of our waterpark.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Implement pricing strategies, promotional offers, and prepare profitability analysis to optimize revenue streams.
  • Conduct financial forecasts and monitor market trends within the aquatics industry to anticipate revenue fluctuations throughout the year.
  • Strategically manage rate yields for all waterpark offerings on a daily, weekly, monthly, and 90day basis.
  • Develop and maintain the waterpark rate calendar in alignment with the directives from the Waterpark Director.
  • Identify new revenue initiatives and continuously seek opportunities to enhance the waterpark's bottom line.
  • Innovate creative, functional, and servicedriven solutions to elevate the guest experience within the waterpark.
  • Ensure the correct configuration and full capacity functionality of all related systems, including the web booking process.
  • Regularly audit data input and quality, including segmentation and denials tracking.
  • Establish and communicate blackout dates for promotional offers.
  • Develop and maintain a promotional calendar in collaboration with the leadership team.
  • Create and execute promotions as directed.
  • Track promotional offers accurately in the pointofsale system and provide weekly reports on performance metrics.
  • Generate internal communications to inform waterpark team members (operations and guest services) about ongoing promotions.
  • Identify, secure, and manage thirdparty reseller platforms to expand revenue channels.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of thirdparty reseller platforms regularly.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in revenue management, pricing strategy, or a similar role within the hospitality or leisure industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends effectively.
  • Proficiency in utilizing revenue management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated creativity and innovation in developing promotional strategies.
  • Knowledge of the aquatics industry and market trends is a plus.
