Machine Operator
Reports to:
Production Supervisor
SUMMARY
The Machine Operator is an hourly position, reporting to the Production Supervisor. This position is first shift Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm with overtime as needed.
Machine Operator is accountable for assisting the manufacturing process which includes filling drums, labeling products, and may include the use of a forklift.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities-
Drumming of Materials and Dispensing of Product:
- Ensure a consistent and quality product of material produced
- Procedures must be followed including exact quantities produced and dispensed.
- Proper labelling of drums / totes
- Proper dispensing of finished goods products into 55 gallon drums
- Follow loading instructions
- Proper labeling of all products with production information and date
- Use of hand tools including a drum torque wrench
- Autonomously drive the process to ensure production and quality targets are met on a daily basis
- Detailed organization through reading instruments and accurately recording readings
- Received adequate training and fully understand manufacturing procedures
- At times relabeling of incoming material will be required
- Assisting with quarterly inventory count
- Must complete safety and all other trainings as assigned
- All other duties as assigned by Leadership

- Must be able to comply with all safety/work/procedures, rules and regulations
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must have to ability to do basic mathematical calculations
- Must have the ability to multitask
- Must work well in team environment and work independently
- Must be able to maintain a safe and clean work environment
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
The employee should have the following:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required
- 1 years of manufacturing experience or related experience and/or training in an industrial environment
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be a US citizen or have the right to work in the US
- Must be drug and alcohol free
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires:
- Standing for prolonged periods of time, over 8 hours if required
- Work overtime, as needed
