Graphic Designer

The Opportunity:


The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs for various projects, such as branding materials, advertising, social media graphics, and website layouts.

The Graphic Designer should have experience in the Adobe Creative Suite and be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.

The position is in Houston, TX

Responsibilities:


  • Graphic design (85%)
  • Website updates and postings (5%)
  • Social media (10%)
  • Create PowerPoint slides for executive team
  • Graphic design support for internal and external marketing campaigns
  • Create flyers, posters, advertisements, newsletters
  • Design infographics
  • Layout and design of company calendar, annual report, sustainability report
  • Social media graphics
  • Create branded templates using Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with acute attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with branding, typography, photography, and color theory
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, design, and develop creative solutions to technical information
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with WordPress, HTML/CSS, and web design is a plus
  • B2B and/or government contracting (B2G) experience preferred
