- Mechanical / Machinery Maintenance Technician for the Cotton Valley Gas Plant in Cotton Valley, Louisiana
- Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and surveillance of designated fixed and rotating equipment
- Must possess a proficient understanding of safe work practices for general operations and equipment specifics
- Primarily involved in troubleshooting and repairing rotating equipment like pumps, turbines, and compressors
- Additionally supports fixed equipment such as valves, heat exchangers, and reboilers
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with availability for after-hours and on-call support
- Execute duties in adherence to procedures, utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) and company policies
- Prioritize personal safety and that of colleagues
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of assigned equipment, operational limits, and maintenance strategies
- Obtain necessary certifications for equipment support and warranty compliance
- Demonstrate strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations
- Conduct surveillance and maintenance tasks as per planned maintenance and equipment strategies
- Participate in maintenance planning and troubleshooting efforts as needed
- Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Aptitude for working in varied environmental conditions and heights
- Capability to work both independently and within a team
- Flexible to work nights, weekends, and on-call shifts
- Formal training or a minimum of 3 years of experience with maintaining Caterpillar 3500 and 3600 series engines
- Familiarity with instrumentation principles like differential pressure, temperature, flow, and pressure control
- Ability to interpret data sheets, control drawings, and P&IDs
- Experience with maintaining and troubleshooting various process equipment including pumps, valves, and exchangers
- Strong computer and communication skills
