The digitization of medicine offers enormous potential to improve medical research and patient care. In order to harness this potential, the Dresden University Medicine has established a Center for Medical Informatics (ZMI). With the newly appointed professorship for Data Science in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine (Prof. Dr. Mario Menk) at the University Hospital Dresden, there is excellent networking within the university medicine.

We are currently seeking a

Research Associate in the field of Medical Informatics
to be filled as soon as possible in full-time employment, initially for a period of 24 months.

Your area of work includes participation in scientific projects in medical informatics. You will conduct research and publish on relevant and current topics in anesthesiology and intensive care medicine. You will design your own interesting research projects based on clinical routine data, build databases for various intensive care conditions, apply AI methods and other modern techniques from the field of data science to this data, and work
