Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for the project management team, including setting goals, priorities, and performance targets.
- Oversee the execution of customer projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with project scope, schedule, and budget objectives.
- Lead and mentor project managers and project teams, fostering professional development and providing guidance and support as needed.
- Utilize extensive experience in structural engineering and project management to assess project requirements, develop innovative solutions, and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors, to optimize project outcomes and deliver value to customers.
- Serve as a key liaison between customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and addressing customer needs and concerns.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management team, implementing best practices, processes, and tools to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor project financials and resource allocation, optimizing project budgets and resource utilization to maximize profitability and operational efficiency.
- Champion a culture of safety, quality, and professionalism within the project management team, promoting adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Represent the company in customer meetings, industry conferences, and networking events, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and industry partners.
- Bridge and roadway experience preferred
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in structural engineering, construction management, or a related field; Master's Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing largescale projects in the construction, metals, or petrochemical industries.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing and mentoring project management teams.
- Indepth knowledge of structural engineering principles, surveying techniques, and metrology methodologies.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve organizational goals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, team members, and senior management.
- Proven ability to drive results, make datadriven decisions, and adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- PMP or similar project management certification preferred.
- PE License in Indiana (or ability to obtain one if hired)
Pay:
$120, $150,000.00 per year
