Lake Compounce is a subsidiary of Palace Entertainment, a leading leisure park operator in the United States overseeing more than 25 entertainment venues, hotels, and educational venues across 10 different states

Position Overview:

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Maintenance, the Waterpark Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repair and refurbishment of equipment & facilities in our Waterpark.

Maintenance completes preventative maintenance, testing slides and attractions, adjusting controls, diagnosing, and repairing system malfunctions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Conduct preopening daily inspections of all pools and slides/structures
Accurately record water and chemical test levels
Maintain pump and filtration equipment
Assist with winterizing and dewinterizing attractions and facilities
Timely completion of repair work orders

Qualifications:

35 years relevant maintenance experience in a Waterpark highly desired.
Must possess CPO license or willing to acquire within first 90 days of employment.
A working knowledge of plumbing, mechanical, electrical, basic carpentry and water chemistry.
Must be able to remain focused on the job while dealing with interruptions from guest contact.
Must be able to operate trade equipment and make repairs on the waterpark assets following the company's policies and procedures.
Must be willing and able to perform all other job duties and assignments as assigned by management.
Must be willing to work in a crossdepartmental position when needed.

Working Conditions:

Requires standing for long periods and walking long distances within the park
Exposure to the variable outside and inside temperatures, including high heat and cold temperatures
Exposure to high noise levels resulting from the rides and power equipment
Must be able to carry, push, pull, lift, hold objects weighing up to 50 pounds

From $25.00 per hour
