Medication Technician - Sun City Center, United States - Sun Towers Retirement Community

*FULL TIME DAY SHIFT AND NIGHT SHIFT AVAILABLE- 6AM- 6:30 PM
- 12 HOUR SHIFT
- Prepares and observes medication to residents in accordance with facility guidelines and other laws and regulations.
- Confirms identity of residents prior to observing medications; charts drug, dosage and time of administration.
- Identifies inaccuracies in medication or other treatments and seeks guidance of an LPN or RN.
- When required, monitors and records vitals signs upon observation of medication.
- Tracks, orders and reorders medications based on facility guidelines; works with pharmaceutical company to return medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Assists residents in daily routine of personal care as specified by facility guidelines.
Pay:
$15.00 per hour
