Description
Responsibilities:
- Managing help desk tickets
- Answer users' questions about hardware and software problems.
- Assist customers in troubleshooting problems with hardware and software.
- Providing solutions and advice on technical issues
- Provide technical support for computer systems and software.
- Creating manuals for technical training
- Using feedback from customers to improve problemsolving techniques and customer service
- Documenting and analyzing technical issues and customer interactions
- Attending training sessions and conferences to stay current with best practices on how to help customers with technical issues
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Skills and qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Problemsolving and criticalthinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Exceptional teamwork and leadership skills to help other technical support workers
- Ability to learn new technologies and implement them
- Must be familiar with various computers and operating systems such as Linux, Windows, and macOS. Know how to use software management tools and techniques and be familiar with troubleshooting techniques.
- Advance skills in Microsoft Office
- Basic understanding of computer networking
- May require lifting or carrying hardware equipment up to 50 lbs
Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
