Duties and Responsibilities:

Develops, implements, and maintains the overall safety program for the City of Winchester;
Schedules and performs required safety trainings; including specialty trainings: confined space training with gas meters, fall protection, and trenching/excavation safety;
Inspects all locations and onsite work crews for safety program compliance;
Prepares detailed reports for city, state, and federal agencies;
Reviews all injury, illness, accident report, and property damage claims';
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Any combination of education or experience equivalent to an Associate's Degree is required. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred
At least three years' experience in administration of safety training programs, or work in oversight of industrial safety programs
Valid driver's license
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) authorized training certificate, or ability to obtain within six (6) months
